Default DLink DSL-500 Time Servers not working

Not sure if it was a router/switch network issue at all, but on XP I
couldn't get the time synchronization to work from the system tray from any
NTP servers over a few days of trying. It used to work on dial up a while
ago.. Tried several 3rd party programs to no avail, until I tried
AtomicTime from
http://www.zefiro.com/atomictime/
Not sure what's going on here. Hope it helps someone.
