Default 2 computers sharing adsl ?

One house, one adsl line, two computers which want to share the one
adsl line.
Questions - which ISPs allow this? Which ISPs provide the equpiment to
make this possible?
I know that BT Internet offer a homenetwork which seems very good (2
comps connected thur the phone sockets - no need for wires etc) but BT
internet dont offer stuff like email and newsgroups.
Id be very grateful for any suggestions - especially from ppl who
actually have 2 comps networked to use one ADS and can speak from
experience.

I'm sure most won't blink .. though get a router, and I'm not sure how
they'd know.

Get an ADSL router.

Pretty much all of them will allow it. Most won't offer tech support
on how to do it though.

Your best bet is to get an ADSL router with ADSL modem built in. Check
the reviews at
www.adslguide.org.uk The alternative is to use Windows
ICS (internet connection sharing) with a standard ADSL modem and
network the 2 PCs. The problem with that is that the host machine has
to be switched on for the other one to access ADSL. Much better to use
a router which may also have a built in firewall - essential IMO for a
permanent connection.
