What is the requirement from a BT PTSN line to have

ie. no call waiting, call divert on

These i believe will make the line test fail as well for ADSL

Can someone advise what is safe to leave on, ie 1571 caller display

etc...

All Select Services are compatible with ADSL/the line test including:

Call Waiting
Call Diversion
Caller Display
Call Minder
Call Sign
1571 etc

The only thing *you* are likely to have that isn't compatible with ADSL
in the UK is your HH line but as that is being removed as part of the
installation process I woudn't worry...

Regards
Sunil
