| "Paul Cummins" wrote in message ... In article , "Given that usenet is not a 'push' technology, how are they forcing it into people's homes and businesses?" Push is the wrong word. To make easily available would be a better choice. There is little difference in holding this material as part of a subscription service and going to a blatent site and downloading. Let me run this past you - if it's OK for plusnet to do it, and fully legal why are the groups mentioned not available through the likes of ntl, tiscali, aol, onetel to pick just 4 that I can confirm. Seems to be a lot of support for this kind of material here - which is more than a minor concern. |

So why are you criticising Plus.Net? why not have a go at www.innocentangels.com or www.californiavirgins.com? Or even www.yahoo.com - there is 'child porn' (sic) freely available on there and you don't even need to subscribe. if it's OK for plusnet to do it, and fully legal why are the groups mentioned not available through the likes of ntl, tiscali, aol, onetel to pick just 4 that I can confirm. Because none of those companies offer a news service specifically for binary groups. Seems to be a lot of support for this kind of material here - which is more than a minor concern. No support for child pornographers, just for freedom of speech - which your next post appears to be trying to stifle. Especially since it is your newsreader at fault. I am posting no attachments whatsoever - to do so would be a breach of the group charter. -- Paul Cummins - Always a NetHead Wasting Bandwidth since 1981 begin Who gives a **** about Outlook Express anyway.exe |
