Default Master Socket ADSL

In article , Steve
writes

But what do you do if you've NOT got a master socket at all (just a
blanked off box labelled GPO!). The ISP say it's BT's job to install
one - and (yes) BT say it's up to the ISP to request a fitting.

See similar recent posts NTE5's,

some of which I thought I'd read :-)

you can request BT install an NTE5 for
you, it'll cost you though.

Well I've clearly been trying...

but a filtered NTE5 requires the ISP to ask I thought - certainly BT
have shown no interest directly.
