They will go down - for BT customers. You make your choice, you pay your
bill.


And then BT moves the goalposts so your bill is much higher unless you
are with them - and goes on doing so until all their competitiors
go out of business, and then they can put everyones bill up.

That is what BT wants to do, within the constraints that government
and the regulators will let them do so, - and it makes sound business
sense for them to do so, and it is likewise right, proper and sensible
that people observe that this what they are doing, protest at it, and bring
pressure to bear on the regulators and government to tke effective action -
which is how hopefully capitalism and democracy can keep each other
in balance.
