| Just reinstalled everything after formatting due to a virus but now have other problems. Hard drive speed is ok according to sisoft sandra but file transfers take forever. I transfer files from one pc to another and what used to take seconds now takes several minutes, also the drive takes ages to delete when using bcwipe.I have 2 hard drives and both are the same but before reinstalling only the second drive was slow. As i say sisoft sandra reports the actual drive speed as being good , its not fragmented but theres a bottleneck somewhere when tranfering files and wiping. Dma is selected on both drives and i have reinstalled the chipset drivers. Any ideas ?. Andy. |
