Default Phone bill extension and getting line activated

I have a hypothetical question regarding getting phone line adsl
activated. If someone was to call BT to get an extension on paying
their current phone bill (to which bt agreed) and then decided to pay
for their line to get activated would bt still go ahead with the
activation or would the phone bill have to be paid for first.

Thanks

dunny.

As BT is notorious for left hand ignorance of right hand you may get away
with it
