Is anyone aware of any problems using these devices on an ADSL line?

It would help if you gave some more information about what you are trying to
do with it!

Are you by any chance trying/intending to connect the printer to an ADSL
modem/router that has a built in print server?

\crystal_ball_mode

If so, the problem has nothing to do with ADSL per se but, a lot to do with
print servers in general. It is unlikely that a dumb print server could
loaded with all the necessary drivers to make your MFD work.

Install it on a workstation. Even then you probably will only be able to
share the print functionality.
