Default PlusNet & F2S - newsgroups?

Looking around for a BB provider, these two seem pretty good (2Mb) for
14.99. F2S have a 2GB d/l limit (not sure about PlusNet though?).
Anyway, does anyone know if these providers offer newsgroups? Thanks.

Plus.Net certainly does. They were offering free trials of their groups
(and e-mail) to BT Broadband customers (before Yahoo! came on the scene).
There's still a three-month free trial on their service, which you might
want to try (before you buy :-) If stuck, my reply-to mail works.

I recommend them and save some cash.

With a guarantee allowing new users to migrate if they're unhappy!

You should check that Plusnet's 14.99 service offers Usenet. Not sure
that it does. Their 21.99 service definitely does offer it though.

PlusNet's Usenet service is excellent considering it is 'free'- The
text groups probably have close to 100% coverage and 6 months
retention.

Their binary service is a lot better than most ISP's. It covers most
of the binary groups and the retention is about 5 days. Completion is
excellent 98% of the time (today it is crap!!!!).

If you want binaries I would recommend you pay for a commercial
service as well. You can get 5 gigs per month from ForteInc for about
3.

Hi,

Broadband Plus does include access to Usenet. However, I should point out
the binary newsgroup downloads (but not text groups) are subject to
traffic shaping Broadband Plus.
