If you're sure it's a router and not just a modem, then get a switch with
as many ports as you want. The smallest I've seen is a 4 port device,
which with one port used as an uplink from your router will allow you to
plug in 3 PC's. The next size up is usually something like an 8 port
device.

I have a Linksys EZXS55W which works well, you can find them at all the
usual retail shops such as Maplins.

Assuming that it's only a modem, the cheapest way would be to put a 2nd network
card in your main PC and run NAT software then a hub/switch. This isn't exactly
an elegant solution and has a few drawbacks, first your main PC needs to be left
on whenever you are on line, second the NAT software will sit using up CPU time
slowing down your PC a little and it's also not that quick for the other PCs. It
dose have some advantages as you can run a local proxy, restrict other PCs on
the network to give limited internet access (ideal for kids). A better option
still working on the assumption that your modem is just a modem would be to get
a 4 port router slightly more expensive but not a lot it will eliminate the down
sides of the nat options but a cheap one will also not have the advantages of
it.
