Default puzzled.....

xp Pro running on laptop and main machine
NTL broadband connection
Liksys WRT54g wireless router.
Belkin wireless card.

AS soon as I "plug in" the wireless network card (PCMCIA) I find that
the browser on the main machine slows down to a total crawl, but as
soon as it is "unplugged" the browser on the main machine picks up and
returns to it's normal fast speed.

I have looked at the usual setting sbut to be honest cannot find
anything unusual.
Anyone else come across this problem which is totally baffling me... (
I don't mind if it is something totally simple...(being simple myself)
as long as I can get it to work).

Thanks folks in anticipation.

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather,
not kicking and screaming like those in the back
of his car....
