Default Fritz!box help required - error tone when using voip

I have set up my Fritz!box Fon Wlan - pstn works fine incoming and outgoing
, however voip is another matter
Everytime I try and ring out using voip I get an error tone and then it will
go over to pstn and dial out fine . I have tried sipdiscount test ,
voiptalk , voipcheap - all the same . Am I missing something in the
configuration ???

Thanks

It might be a few things, can you let me see some screenshots of your
configuration..?

I have the non-wireless version and I assume the setup is similar, let me
know if you need any help, email me direct on g6urp01 at googlemail dot
com if required.

If the box is connected directly to ADSL do not use SIP proxy or Stumank.
Proxy and Stun is only needed if the AVM box is behind an other NAT firewall
box
Take care, voipstunt etc. always need 00country prefix when dialing.

Fully working now - the sipdiscount trial logon does not work for some
reason , set up a proper account and all working fine now

Is there anyway when dialling out via voip , to get the outgoing call to
caller id as my BT number instead of the voip provider ??

Jim expressed precisely :

Not with Sipdiscount et all, it isn't. (I'd gladly be proved wrong)

Providers such as Gradwell may be able to arrange to present a
different telephone number for you. Voip.co.uk certainly offer it as a
service.

1899's voip used to do what you want. It became voipcheap and stopped
being possible.
