Do you work for whoever runs this number, Ron..? You
always seem to be pushing it.

I just happen to think that it is a very good deal
especially for people who like myself subscribe to a
service that offers totally free calls to UK numbers
evenings and weekends plus being able to dial 0845
numbers also using it is a bonus also .

But it isn't totally free, there is a monthly charge.

I think I shall also have to start advertising the
company name here in this FORUM also and you can scream
and shout and dance up and down but you WON'T stop me

Maybe not today Ron, maybe not today, but I can be patient.

doing so at least I do not push a GERMAN company at every
opportunity .

Nor do I.

I know that FWD (a US-based company) allow it, but
Sipgate and Gradwell definitely don't.

One would not expect tight wads like these two to do so.
I can't speak for others as I don't
have accounts with any others than these.

Very strange Ivor you have account with two providers who charge you
every time a number is dialed yet you call Vonage expensive even
though a Vonage account lets you call uk and Irish numbers for free
24/7.
Anyone who dials 01635 578562 no matter their provider can more or
less call the world for the cost of a UK call or for free evenings and
weekends if you have an account with a provider like voip.co.uk
that isn't a tight wad like the two you have mentioned .

Hi,

I am very interested in / curious about the 01635 number. Is this the one
that was advertised / notified here a while ago offering to provide
international dialthrough (and 0845 dialthrough [allowing dialthrough to UK
0845 numbers] as I recall / you suggest)? I thought it was pulled within a
day or two. Is it back in service or a different number? Is it the same
operator or a different one? When I tried it I got a different ring tone
(like a VoIP device or international ring pattern)... is this actually a
stuttered dial tone to then dial your onward destination number?

Hope all is well! ... and thanks for posting about it.

Best wishes,

Less than ONE PENCE a day Ivor and less than that if you
pay yearly has I do.

But if I only make three calls in a month that's the best part of 30p,
whereas the call charges on Sipgate would most likely be less than 10p.

Maybe not today Ron, maybe not today, but I can be

Greater men than you have tried and failed Ivor .

Maybe so, but your time will come.

I intend to see Sipgate go under before I go that is a
promise .

What you intend and what will actually happen may not necessarily be the
same thing.

I intend to retire a millionaire but I can't see it happening somehow..!
