Default Best fast upload ISP?

Need faster than usual upload, as doing webinars.

On Plus, but they don't seem to offer faster upload, apart from expensive
SDSL

bethere.co.uk look the best bet at the moment - anyone got any other
suggestions??

thanks

It may all hang on what your line stats are like - have you got any
idea what your noise margin / attenuation is ?

How fast do you need?
UKFSN offer Office packages @ around 30 with 832 kbps up.

Do you use a router ? - many of them have a way of displaying the
figures... Try here for clues on where to look if your hardware is
listed (although you can also get them from an alcatel USB frog)

Thanks Colin - I should have thought of the (Netgear) stats.

Hi JoGlen,

ask bethere.com about ordering an account.

Be are the quickest you will get from one line - 2.4Mbps is (I think)
the current record.

There are options for bonding lines but :

a) you still have to pay BT line rental;
b) the variable nature of maxADSL has been problematic to say the
least and many ISPs who used to do bnding no longer offer it on
2M/256k lines - ie only on fixed rate.

You should be aware that the Be package with increased upload isn't
without problems of its own - as it uses an increased frequency range
then there really is no way to accurately tell if it'll be of benefit
or not. Some people with lines that look near-perfect (full 24Mbps
sync on normal service) have problems with the increased upload.
Attenuation is unfortunately little help here as capacitance at
certain frequencies (and harmonics thereof) is more limiting - and
much harder to "fix".

There's also one from ADSL24 at about 25 (inc VAT) from memory.
All depends on amount of data likely during day-time.
