Default Asterisk for SME use - Query

Colleage has one geographic number and wants an interactive menu service for
callers (EG press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts...).

Is there a way to interface an Asterisk unit, or [email protected], between the
phone line and a Grandstream unit and forward the calls over something like
an interal LAN?

Thats exactly what Asterisk does and exactly what we do here on our
Asterisk system.

You can do:-

Analogue PSTN - Asterisk - Analogue
ISDN PSTN - Asterisk - Analogue
Analogue PSTN - Asterisk - SIP
ISDN PSTN - Asterisk - SIP
SIP - Asterisk - Analogue
SIP - Asterisk - SIP

Etc, etc, etc,
