Would a CTX-1000 likely introduce any additional delays for Skype
traffic?

(I may be mad but we may end up with a hybrid Skype/SIP solution, I
know I can only get reliable QOS on SIP BUT Skype is useful for a
number of different purposes)

If I implemented a CTX-1000 for SIP would it likely slug my Skype
(over NAT) ?

has anybody tried it?

Skype traffic wont be prioritised so if you start making SIP calls the
CTX-1000 could start throttling back the other stuff (including Skype)
if you are running out of bandwidth.

With no SIP or RTP traffic the CTX-1000 should allow Skype to burst to
the max bandwidth you have, until you start trying to make a SIP call.
