I have arranged for any message marked SPAM which I have assumed Orange do
on my behalf, to be diverted direct in to my deleted items folder and after
checking that there are no real messages there I delete the lot. A number
are firms I deal with advertising new offers etc but sometimes I would like
to receive messages without SPAM attached. How do I change the setting SPAM
for these sites?
After a period of checking I hope to delete these items automatically.

Ask the firms not to spam and people wouldn't mark them as such in order for
them to get a reputation. Tell them what's happening and advise that they
only contact customers who wish to be contacted about further offers. You
can set up a filter to pick out the company name and transfer it for you,
but it will still be labelled as spam if that's what the company is known
for.

Log in to the website where you will find that you can add email
addresses to a "not spam" list.

I find that orange, quite randomly it seems to me, suddenly decide that
emails I have been receiving for years are spam and they recently did
this to emails from my mother would you believe so whatever you do,
never ever rely on their software to get it right and auto-delete what
they decide is spam without checking first!

Somewhere in the filter set-up page there will be a 'Whitelist'. You put
the address of the sending organisation in the Whitelist and their posts
to you will not be marked as spam.

Could you please clarify which web site you mean as I have never seen a "not
spam" list on the orange web site or on any web sites belonging to
advertisers.
I also get the odd wrong SPAM given to a correct email and that worried me
about automatically deleting all SPAM emails.
Outlook Express also has controls but I'm not sure how effective they are.

Are you referring to the filter setup page in Orange or Outlook Express or
another page ?
