Default Sky Broadband connection/router prob

Hi
Due to go on line today
The internet light on the Sagem router is orange and it should be
green, does this mean I'm not connected yet?

AFAIK, think that means connected but not sync'd. I have the older white
router with the latest F/W. Once I turn the router on the "i" light is off.
After a few seconds it turns orange but I cannot surf. As soon as the light
goes green it has sync'd.

When it's all working you will have three greens.

Looking at the time you it should be working for you now.

When its Orange it means that you HAVE synced, meaning you have made
to connection to the DSLAM at the exchange and the connection has
been negotiated. After that you have a valid username and password
which is checked and you are given an IP for the network, in this case
sky's network which lets you use the internet.

Your username is in the router and pre-entered, and you should not
need to do anything, it may be that you have been physically been
connected to the network but your account needs to be activated.
