Thousands of customers affected by this system outage. Intermittent connections from partly OK to downright nothing. Texts and calls affected. Has been going on all day. Many forums have posted from well pi$$ed off users.

I was in Sheffield this morning, Nottingham all day, and back home in
Leicester since early evening. I've used data, voice and sms without
noticing any issues, though I ought to add my phone spends most of its
time set to "2G only".

It has hit giffgaff users worst. And the giffgaff forums are running red hot with really annoyed customers.

Is there some sort of pecking order or priority bestowed on the host
network and various virtuals?
