That's at a 100Gbps switch. You could probably connect 1,000 users to that switch at 1Gbps without contention.

So 26k switched in little cabinets at the side of the road. Funnily anough BT has installed 77k, although they can only handle about 300 connections each.

Not hard at all IMO.

OK - what is a domestic consumer going to do with that?

Sure a busy office with 100 desks, all storing their data in a cloud might, but a residential user?


So its 400 per fttp link then?


Depends if one can really buy fibre gear at the prices you quote and install it for free...

Troll!!

I been using China made fiber equipment for years and its neither subsidized
or junk. No one can beat their prices or their quality or value for money.
They set the standards now.

Don't go buying any expensive crap from Amrikkka like +++ATH0 does
