Has anyone else tried to wall-mount a belkin WAP, the model f5d7130?
Having just looked at this, it seems that as supplied, it will only
mount with the aerials pointing *downwards*. Doesn't seem to affect
performance, but looks decidedly odd :-)

Will it be possible to join the Linksys and Draytek with a cable so

I've just enabled ICS on my XP Home (SP2) PC to allow a couple of other

I'm interested in the data-transfer speed that the XP (router) PC shows.
Before, when I browsed the web, downloaded email etc, the Networking tab of
Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) for the dial-up connection typically showed a

| | Already have 10/100 card installed and USB ADSL modem - cheapest way to wi-fi network? by
Si
Hi,
As I already have a 10/100 card installed and a USB ADSL modem, what's the
cheapest way to share my internet connection with a PDA?
Do I need an access point for the PC and a wi-fi card for the PDA? Or can I
just use a USB wireless adapter for the PC together with a wi-fi card for
the PDA?
Do I then turn on ICS and share my existing connection?

| | belkin access point - IP gateway??? by
Mike Scott
I've just been setting up a new belkin f5d7130 wireless access point.
It appears that you can't specify an IP gateway for this, and that if
you want to use the web-based setup, the web client has to be on the
same subnet. Irritating if so; am I missing something here?

Just to simplify a previous post...
I have a belkin adsl modem/wireless router, and connect to it from

seconds, then it vanishes.. then it's detected again, and vanishes..
this goes on and on and it can't hold a connection at all. While this
