Anyone experienced Netgear products reporting incorrect MAC addresses. I'm on my second Netgear PC card WG511, the first had to be returned as it would not connect and was reporting varying MAC addresses. The replacement is working OK but I'm now getting the incorrect MAC addresses reported again. I ran XP's Network Diagnostics and it reported my card as follows;

Hi - I've used the feedback and advice etc. from this newsgroup to help me get a hybrid P2P Microsoft network up and running with W2K and XP Pro machines. It's been going for a while now and all OK. Just for the sake of it I'm thinking of trying a client-server set up but couldn't justify the cost for MS server licences. Hi, I have an existing BNC cable hard-wired into my apartment but find BNC a constant nightmare to diagnose faults on. I also have a new Sony Vaio which has a built-in RJ45 socket, which would be nice to use instead of a separate BNC PCI card. I've been given a present of a D-Link wireless router. I already have a network of 2 PCs and wanted to add my laptop wirelessly. I have a broadband USB modem though, and the new wireless router only has a WAN port for connection of an ethernet modem. How do I get round this? Can I buy some kind of simple adaptor which changes my USB plug into an ethernet one?

I've heard that AOL use a proprietary protocol which causes difficulty with connection sharing... Is this true? Is there any way to use a router to share an AOL braodband conenction?
