Bluetooth LAN Print Server by Geoff Lane
Saw a Belkin device recently, it is a Bluetooth Access Point and Print Server (URL below). http://tinyurl.com/y4rkue For a print server it appears more economically priced than conventional WiFi or wired LAN print servers. Now the bluetooth access point would be quite useful, I've currently got a Wifi access point plugged in to a 4 port router so I am wondering; if I

Two routers - one network by Rojo Habe
I've just added a Linksys RT31P-UV VOIP router to my system and signed up with Vonage. If I plug this router into my cable modem and then plug my existing Linksys WRT54G wireles router into one of its LAN ports, everything works fine(ish) straight out of the box. I say "ish" because sometimes web pages won't load on the first attempt, and require one or two refreshes to load properly. ...

Can a spare adsl modem/router be put to any decent use. I know a cable modem/router can be plugged in the back of another and create a second doubled NATed network but I am wondering if a second adsl modem/router can be of any use. Geoff Lane

100m line length by jas0n
I need to get a network point to a seperate building, which is approx 150m from the switch. The line length of 100m that's specified, ive never tried running anything beyond 100m - is t a fairly fixed limit, unlikely to run to 50% beyond ... ? I think the only other option is wireless, probably a couple of external wifi points in bridge mode, maybe.

VPN client software to work with Netgear routers by Fred
Netgear do a couple of software packages called VPN01L and VPN05L but they aren't very cheap. I have a Netgear to Netgear VPN working well but would also like VPN to work from a remote PC. Does Netgear use standard protocols which allows any freeware client packages to work? Has anyone successfully used any freeware packages with Netgear routers?

Hi I have a customer with a Speedtouch 330 installed. It's been working Ok but suddenly the green ADSL light starts flashing and the connection cuts off. HP laserjet2100 and 600n jetdirect card not working together by Fred
Guys, I have a four-port home-network running behind a router. I want to install a jetdirect 600n 3113a card which I have bought on ebay. My printer is a laserjet2100. I can insert the card and print out a config page which tells me that tcp/ip is enabled and also I am getting an ip address of the form 10.x.x.x. All the other machines on my network are assigned an IP in the form of 192.x.x.x...

Linksys WRT54GS question by Len Cuff
I bought this router to replace a failed Netgear router which died during a firmware upgrade. This one is fine most of the time and then for no apparent reason I can no longer get to the Internet. Just get almost instant 'page cannot be displayed' messages. The only way round it is to reset the router. Once it's booted back up, it works fine again? Anyone else suffered from this problem and found...
