| | Bluetooth LAN Access Point by
Geoff Lane
Anyone used the D-Link (Or similar if available) Bluetooth AP to give
LAN access to Bluetooth devices.
Just wondering as to the usefulness of the device as to the best of my
knowledge most Bluetooth devices are phone type instruments whereas
computers tend to connect via WiFi.

I have a wireless network running 2 desktops. I bought a laptop
recently and that too was running perfectly well on the network.
However, since my son took it to school (he assured me he made no
changes) the laptop continues to connect to the network and share the
printer but will not access the internet. Can anyone suggest what I
need to check?

I'm staring to consider powerline networking as a transit to connect
main wired network in home to an out-building. WiFi, for some reason, is

Anyway, what kit do I need to look for in particular, and what
limitations have people found with it?
I'm only after a pair of adapters for the moment, with...

| | network in my garage with KVM - wiring problems by
jameshanley39@yahoo.co.uk
I want a bunch of computers in my garage, about 8 of them.
And a keyboard mouse and monitor in my bedroom.
So I could have a KVM Extender that puts a long cat5 cable between the
2 sites. A long cable going from my bedroom, outside, and into the
garage.
I'd rather have RJ45 "Wall Plates" i.e. holes in the wall where I can
plugin my cat5 cable. then I won't have messy wires.
Who do I call to get...
