I did a BT availability check on two phone lines in my work today (for reasons that I will explain). The two lines come from the same exchange, and are installed literally next to each other in the building. 1 result said 2Mb would be available, and the other said 1Mb maybe. How does that work then. when ever i log onto some site that redirects me to doubleclick it just hangs and i get no further and have to abort my attempt . why do they bother with this doubleclick crap? it appears to be a bottle neck

Hi All, I think I spotted an ADSL router the other day that had a tick box that I believe 'isolated' each of the ethernet ports from each other? I think it might have been called 'gaming mode' or summat? (can't remember the make / model though)? Would this would allow all users to access the internet but not each other (which is what I want).
