My village is actually due to get adsl in January. Trouble is, Im likely to be moving in June... Do most providers still tie you to a 12 month contract? If so, do they have problems with you moving during the 12 months (wherever I went would need to have bb, the g/f says she can't go back to dialup when we move in together! James

I am using BT Broadband and found the modem they supplied (with two green lights) dropped the connection after a few minutes. I bought a Speedstraem 3060 Internal Modem which it tells me is connecting at 2.8mbs. Is this a true connection speed?

Hey, Apparently today is my activation date, although I haven't received my welcome pack, I do already have a modem from my pipex days, so wondered if I could just create a new dialup connection* for tesco?
