Going to be ordering BTYahoo for games consoles and get the speedtouch 530 router for £20. I do have a frog modem but that requires ICS as one PC as windows 98 first edition I cannot use ICS. Am with Nildram at the moment, which is very reliable but costs for the same service £22.99. Before I switch the thought of checking reliability of Dialstar came to mind. As I understand it g.dmt use 247 4khz channels,do these start at 0hz ? if so do this mean that 246 are available for DSL (I presume that the 1st channle is for pstn,but I am unsure as to wether the typical filters cut off is sharp enough)? How much data is carried in 1 4khz channel (is it even fixed) ? Which range of channnels are typically used for upstream and downstream ?

I have just tried making and receiving phone calls with an unfiltered telephone while on the interenet and had no interfernce, crackling or whatever.
