Hi, I've been with these guys for a while with no problems. I got a letter from them before Christmas saying I was being upgraded from 2meg to 8 meg for free. Ever since then my connection has been a nightmare. Constant drop outs, massive reconnection times (occasionally within minutes, but most often it's hours or the next day). They claim the work is over but the drop outs are just as bad.

Hi, I recently moved from previous isp which my netgear dg834 always registered at 56-59 attenuation. Since I changed to a new isp and sagem router I get 60. The connection is faster than the old and (touch wood) as stable. Is this likely to just be a feature of the router as I always thought it was related to the distance from exchange. My daughter's Linksys WAG54G appears to have lost its ethernet connections. I needed to adjust some settings for her and connected my ethernet cable to it, it showed nothing. My router reported a solid downstream speed of about 2200. After a powercut, it now reports 1728. I don't know much about all this. Is this what's called "retraining"? Why has it happened?
