I am considering changing form one ADSL ISP to another , or perhaps going to cable . My question is related to metering of uploads/downloads. Anyon know how I can figure out my monthly averages. I am considering other ISPs that allow for smaller GB caps than I currently have with my current ISP, and need to know if I will be over my average downloads/uploads . I have now heard from two people that, following succesful trials of something at the British F1 GP, BT are upgrading the Fibre Optic lines to take Broadband. HI, I've been without my adsl for 4 days now... yes 4 days! :-( It just wont connect although the status light on my asus router/modem is fine. The back-up dial up service is like a 14.4k connection taking ages for web pages to show and e-mails and newsgroup headers to download.
