I would like to set up Zyxel 650H DSL modem as a firewall. I want it to prevent all PCs in the LAN, except for the Proxy server, to access the Internet. I'm getting BT Business 500 (not Plus) from work. The documentation says that it is only suitable for multiple connections using ICS and one computer has to be left switched on. I want to put a wireless network in. Is it purely the fact that BT only supply USB modem that is the issue. If I bought, for example, a Netgear DG824M and wireless PC cards it should all work ??? Answers...

Correct - the additional bandwidth is only useable LAN side as your WAN connection is much smaller.
