I'm thinking about switching to AOL. I was with them years ago on dial-up and found them reliable - which was probably just as well, given their poor technical support. What are they like as an ADSL provider? Also, the one thing that infuriated me about them was their failure to offer a 'real' POP 3 email service (I have some vague memories of a hack that used to allow this)

T-Mobile and 3 Network are both offering high speed broadband access via a modem, both require some form of contract. Anyone know how these modems work, is there a sim card (Or similar) inside and if after the contract ends one doesn't stay with the company do you end up with a £100 doorstop or can it be used with another company. However it appears they have a global blacklist of words that cause email to be rejected at their servers.
