| | VOIP Buster- Delay in connecting by
The Simpsons
I`m using voip buster with no problems but a friend in Australia using voip
buster always gets a 15/20 second delay before a converstion can begin when
dialing a land line anywhere.
He also gets cut off early on during the converstion. He has credit on his
account and computer to computer is fine. He's using a new Dell computer
with win xp.
Anyone help with this?
Thanks, Fred

Hello,
How on earth do you change your VM pin from the web interface? Every time I
try, I'm told that the SMS number is wrong.
So......
I seem to be able to only change the PIN by entering a mobile number for SMS
notification.

I am not complaining about the service, but i tried to log on my
account at my other address, and i got an error 4.
I emailed them on the response feedback page, and they didn't respond,
so again i filled in the response page, and again no response.

Hi all,
I was having problems getting three way calling and call waiting working
with Freetalk, they use the TBR type recall (time break recall) I found
that one my wireless land line phones I had to set the base stations
recall time to 5 milliseconds and then hold the recall key for about 2
to three seconds for it to work

| | VOIP Buster is a dead loss by
BrianF
So far no-one has responded to any of my postings on this subject so I ask
my self if anyone in the NG is using VOIP Buster.
Just to resume the situation:
I run Win XP Pro, 2.8 GHz Pentium 4 and 512 MHz RAM
I have been using this VOIP Buster for about 18 months and it has been
working very well apart from some early difficulties with distortion and
one-way communication. With various...

Jim
Anyone use the above combination ? If so - can anyone provide me with
a working dialplan (string) ??
I've been scratching my head but still can't figure it out :(
Am only using VOIPCheap as it gives free calls to UK landlines - what
others (that give free UK calls) would you recommend ?
Cheers

| | Multi office question by
Dave Saville
Friend of mine is a partner in a small business. They have two offices in two
different towns and are expanding to a third. Could they do something clever by
having say an asterisk server in one location handling all three sites? Not
certain at this point if the three sites are fixed IP or not. I suspect not.

| | Homechoice - Shortens IP address leases to cut off voip calls? by

Hi All,
I'm getting increasingly frustrated with Homechoice's IP address
leases. When I'm using Skype or Bittorrent Homechoice seems to increase
the frequency of lease renewal (approx. 5-10 minutes) for my IP
address. That means that my Skype calls get cutoff and I have to
redial, and also Bittorrent needs to reconnect to all it's peers (which

I had a working config few days ago, but I messed up with my zaptel/zapata

I've connected regular phone and it is showing CID so the line is okay.
