Echo at the "callee" phone by pike_by_nature@hotmail.com
Used VOIPstunt yesterday in my office with no probs at all; after a certain amount of messing with my router settings. That's running with an ordinary dect phone plugged into the VOIP port on a 512/128 broadband cable router. Today, at home, I downloaded the sotware and ran it on my PC; connected to a 150/64 internet connection. Microphone and speakers, no proper handset. I had what can best be...

Anonymous Caller Rejection by Jono
Hello, again. Is there a football match on, or something as it's very quiet in here tonight? I would like to implement ACR in my auto attendant, for calls to any SIP number (not ZAP). I don't want or need anything flashy, I just want to send anyone that calls without a CLID, to an announcement which tells them of an alternative number they need to ring. Callers with a visible CLID should...

Voip.co.uk, voicemail and other features by PL
I signed up with voip.co.uk at the end of last November and with the exception of a brief period in December, have been without voicemail services the whole time (incoming calls don't divert to voicemail if my allocated number is engaged, if I don't answer the incoming call or if the MTA/broadband is offline). Enhanced voicemail is one of their standard features. I can dial the system #121...

Draytek Vigor 2900 by Jono
I'm in conversation with Draytek's pre-sales dept.............. Here's the most recent reply: Hello, We really don't know of anyone who has run an Asterisk server on a Vigor2900. There are doubtless people around, but it's relatively rare. Most people don't run SIP servers.

Virtual WinModem to send DATA using your VoIP service by xavierdaull@gmail.com
I use an application that needs a 56k modem to send data to gsm terminals (9.6k max). I can't connect any new hardware to this server. So I would like a sort of software solution : a driver that would create a virtual modem in my windows modem list and use a VoIP service to communicate. Does any one knows a solution ?

Any other company than Sipgate that allocates local UK numbers by Unknown Artist
Some time ago I set up a local number with Sipgate but something seemed to go wrong with the setup at their end. There did seem to be a glitch with their web page when I initially signed up. I installed their X-Lite software phone but whenever the number is called it simply gives an engaged tone. My account is fully registered and I can log in and confirm the number is mine. I know it is not my...

VoipCheap down by Nick
For a couple of days the VoipCheap website has been down, and, more important, I now cannot log in with their softphone. Should I have taken their company name 'BetaMax' as a warning?
