| | Voip.co.uk voicemail etc. by
Brian A
Has anyone heard any further news on the voicemail front for
voip.co.uk? - or call forwarding for that matter.
Voicemail was supposed to be fixed last weekend.
I haven't seen any signs that it has moved any further forward.
I've also retried setting up vvoicemail
as a forward (Cfwd No Ans Dest:) but that doesn't work still.
:-(

| | PA168 VOIP Phone & Sipgate by
me@there.com
I have signed up to sipgate and got my phone number and so on. I have
a Zoom X4 rout and a PA168 phone and can't get the phone to logon to
the sipgate server.
The wierd thing is that if I disable the protocol settings on the
phone, it logs on immediately and some of the numbers I have tried
dialling show up in the 'my account' page of sipgate's site.
I have had lots of mails from the support...

G'day NG,
I'm looking into VoIP as a cheap alternative to PSTN using the Sipura
SA-3000 adaptor. As this will be running into a router (currently a Netgear
FM-114P), do I need to upgrade to a different router to support VoIP or does
it just it not matter? Does the FM-114P support VoIP?
Thanks,
Cam

Has anyone else noticed http://www.e7voip.com , (from the same people
that provide ADSL for £10/month, and is apparently a really good
service, the ADSL that is).
£8/month for unlimited calls, and mobile calls are cheaper than usual,
makes them cheaper than vonage and presumably much more open.
I'm not stating that they are any good (afaict the service hasn't been
launched yet), but well...

Ben Fitzgerald
Hi,
like the subject says, given the choice (forget price, I'm just asking
about quality here), would you go for:
a) Cisco 7912G IP Phone
b) Snom 190
If you have used both, please state this as I'll be interested to know
this.

I cancelled a few months ago because the call quality I was getting made
their service unusable for me, which was a shame because their pricing
was reasonable.
I waited a full clear month after I'd asked them to cancel my account

Hi,
I have a Bluetooth Headset (Bluetake BT400 GII) and a Blue Opal USB
dongle using the latest version of Blue Opal. What I want to do, and
please tell me if I am going mad, is to try and get the Bluetooth
software working as an additional sound card through the system, so
that I can use Skype et al wirelessly via the headset.
Now what I have done so far is to install the software, get...

| | Siemens S445 - all voip? by
Dave
Hi all,
Does anyone know if the Siemens Gigaset S445 only works with skype or will
it work with voip services using the likes of x-lite?
Also the reason I'm looking at this is I'm after something for home that
incorporates DECT, answerphone and can handle my landline and voipline
together so I haven't got separate handsets all over. Any recommendations on
and alternate product or setup?

| | Skype Cordless Phone by
hophed@hotmail.com
Hi
I'd like to start using Skype on a regular basis and I'm looking for a
decent cordless phone to use. The Dualphone would have been perfect but
it is not compatible with Windows Me.
Can anyone recommend an alternative? I'd be happy with one which was
Skype-only.
Many thanks
