Skype = Jajah calls? by Nigel Greenwood
I'm using Jajah, mainly because it works with my Win Me system. No problem calling Skype subscribers (apart from occasional congestion on Skype bridges). But what I can't find out from anyone is how a Skype "buddy" can call my Jajah number. Does anyone here know? Apparently SIP phones can call me, but I don't think Skype is SIP. Nigel

Voice Mail indicator - Voipfone by Brian A
I have a Sipura SPA-3000 and use voipfone. I understand that stuttered dial tone notification, of a waiting voice mail message, is a default feature on the 3000. Do voipfone provide the signalling to acivate the stuttered dial tone feature? Is there something I need to do to activaste this if so. Remove 'no_spam_' from email address.

Sipgate, not delivering a relaible service here.... by Sass
Well I've been with sipgate now for a few months and I have to say that my personal experience of the service is not a good one. It's been plagued with lost calls, both outgoing and incoming and last night I had three silent calls close together, which appeared to have no-one there at the other end, but after I logged into their website, the calls turned out to be my sister trying to call...

SPA-3000 - 2 questions on FXO/FXS by Stephane M
Hello, 1) I have a real difference between the "volume" of a Voip call or a PSTN call (VOIP Louder than a PSTN one) I don't have any possibility to adjust the volume on my analog phone.... Do you know if there is a way to adjust the level for PSTN or Voip calls ?? 2) I have from time to time, my SPA riging, when nobody is on the line... (some glitches ?)

I had to do it sooner or later by Mike Fletcher
I just knew that I would do this sooner or later. I have a Sipgate number via an ATA connected as a fourth line on my Meridian Compact, the other three lines are connected to PSTN, two BT, one cable. I went to dial a friend of mine who is on Sipgate using his Sipgate number which is 999XXXX, no prizes for guessing what happened next. Yes you've guessed it, I pressed the wrong line button and...

wrote in message I can dial out ok but can't receive calls . What..? There's a company other than Sipgate with problems..?! I don't believe it..! How long before you start saying anyone using Voipfone is wasting their time, eh..? Or are they ok because they aren't German and because I don't use them..?!

Ping: Ivor by Jono
Hello Ivor, I noticed you state that you had no end of trouble when you first started with Sipgate. A change of router fixed the issues for you. What make & model did you have & what did you replace it with? I'm having some baffling problems with Sipgate. I'm fairly sure it's at my end. I have a number of Sipgate numbers as DIDs on an a@h installation. Some work all the time, others don't....

Sipura 3000 Answering Withheld calls by Andi Strain
I'm currently trying to setup my Sipura 3000 as an FXO to my Asterisk box. I have set it up so that I have the following settings under the PSTN User tab. Cfwd Sel1 Caller:* Cfwd Sel1 Dest:99 so that all incoming numbers from the PSTN are forwarded to an Asterisk extension. This works perfectly for callers that present their numbers, but

FXS/ATA unregistering from Asterisk PBX by Davew
Hi, I have a problem with my current configuration. My FXS registration expires every 60 seconds. This is always registered successfully. However, when i receive a phone call the extension registration expires and requires a reboot. The extension can still make outgoing calls.
