| | Sipgate Voicemail is CRAP by
Neil
Hi,
I recently got myself a sipgate account, and the voicemail is pathetic!
Everytime you call it you get either a different voice, a german women, or a
mixture of two or three voices all on the same session. Whats the crack
here then?? What a F**K up...

| | VoIPCheap vat by
Joel
Hi everyone,
I was unable to determine easily from VoIPCheap's website whether or
not VAT is include in their published rates. As usual I may be missing
the obvious, but if someone knows the answer perhaps they could say or
give the relevant URL.
Thanks,

| | Ports 1026 and 1027 on VoIP? by
Tony
Just wondering why I keep getting logged denial of service on ports
1026/1027 from my DG834G. Are these two ports used by VoIP? Im using a
sipura 1001, with the DG834G setup as DMZ on the IP address used by the
sipura. Provider is sipgate.
Comments anyone? Do I need these two ports open, or is it an hack attempt?

| | VoIP question by
Mark Scott
I have signed up for Skype and Sipgate for VoIP services however I notice
that Sipgate requires an ethernet phone and is not compatible with USB
handsets, is this correct?
If this is correct then how can I connect the Ethernet phone to my PC as I
am on the remote end of a wireless connection - the broadband link comes
into the house downstairs where I have a Belkin Pre-N router, my PC here...

| | Draytek 2900 Firmware 2.5.6 - VOIP Settings? by
John Geddes
Just updated my Draytek 2900VG to firmware v2.5.6, which has got my
downstream Sipura-2000 working happily, but my the Draytek's two VOIP
(Sipgate) connections have stopped working - even though the upgrade
seems to have kept all customised settings unchanged.
Presumably the default on one or more of the extra options is causing
trouble, but I don't pretend to understand the techology very...

I have setup Firefly to use Sipgate, but have a few questions I'm hoping
someone here knows the answers to.
Firstly, I get no dial or ringing tone when making a call to a landline,
and suddenly hear the other person's voice when/if they answer. I suspect
there might also be a slight...

| | Grandstream GXP-2000 by
Thomas Rankin
Has anybody used these phones, they seem to have all the features that
I'd like, and are very pretty, but before I bite the bullet and order
some, I was wondering if anybody here had any experience with them.
They are £149 +VAT from voiptalk, (which is the cheapest price I can find).
Alternatively, can anyone recommend a good solid handset for use in a
busy office?

| | 4 x VOIP: Sipura-2000 behind Draytek 2900 by
John Geddes
I am close to sorting out 4 x VOIP for our household - but one snag
remains. I don't understand enough of how it all works to solve it from
first principles, and trial and error has not worked so far.
All four circuits are from sipgate.co.uk
I have two VOIP circuits on the 2900VG - these will call each other OK,
and work fine to and from PSTN.
I have two VOIP circuits on a Sipura-2000 ...

| | SPA-3000 Dial Plan with Asterisk@Home by
Sparks
Okay, Just got my new SPA-3000, seems to be configured OK with my
Asterisk@home box now!
I can call out on it, Asterisk routs the call as per it's setup (UK Land
lines via VoIPBuster, for example)
I would like all calls to mobile numbers, originating from this box, to
route via a specific carrier, now I have managed to do this with the
following line in the "Line 1" dial plan of the SPA-3000

| | IP Phone with good handsfree operation by
Angus Comber
Hello
I have a Grandstream GXP2000 and while it has hands free operation, if I try
to speak to the remote end in hands free mode they tell me I am very faint -
so I end up having to pick up the handset.
Has anyone experience of an IP phone with good hands free operation?
