BudgeTone 102 by Sparks
Next problem! I have a BudgeTone 102 (and Asterisk@home), but can't seem to get the attended transfer to work - does the BudgeTone support this (It works when using a phone connected to my Sipura SPA-3000) Also, if I put someone on park hold (70) Asterisk is supposed to tell me the park hold number it has put the call in - on the BudgeTone, it does not announce this, but it does on the...

Sipgate failing again! by Spencer
Most of the time today, my attempted calls via sipgate don't get a ringing tone at my side, so as the caller, you are left not knowing whether the call is ringing at the other end or not! When is the service going to start working reliably? I'm getting peed off with the lack of reliability now. I am still getting callers telling me they have to re-dial several times before getting a...

Can't find stock of this ATA by PhilÅ
Hello I signed up yesterday with sipgate, what a great system... Anyways 24 hours of research I have decided I want a Linksys WRT54GP2 Wireless Broadband router with 2 voip ports. Main reason for this is that I need a new router anyway with wireless, and this fits the bill.

Voicemail system on a windows PC by JPG
I need to be able to set up a voicemail system on a Windows XPH PC that allows me to record at least two different outgoing messages. These messages would become valid at different times of day. Eg, during business hours an appropriate outgoing business message allowing the caller to record a message. Outside business hours a different outgoing message with the recording facility turned...

Ok Beginner help?? by PhilÅ
Have just signed up with Sipgate.. Nice and easy, I like the 1000 tariff at £5.90 this is half my current line rental and is ample. Anyways.. I have not got a IP phone yet, and was going to try it out with software on the PC, so where can you get calling software from, if any??? And after this, I plan to connect either all my analogue phones to some sort of box that plugs into the router,...

Linksys PAP2 - Cheapest supplier by {{{{{Welcome}}}}}
Where is the cheapest place to buy a Linksys PAP2 ATA from including any P&P (not one locked to a provider). Also I read somewhere on here about a service that allows you to group several accounts into one allowing you to receive calls from all numbers onto one holding account. I've tried searching and come up with nothing. -- For South East Brum: http://www.south-east-birmingham.tk

Failed to hangup Sipgate call, cost me a packet by Joe Harrison
Someone here dialled an 0870xxxxxxxx number and according to them finished the call after a few minutes and hung up. Then on Sipgate view-my-bill I see that the call duration was logged as 1hour 52min and it's cost over eight quid. The person swears they did hang up the call properly (pressed the hangup button on the DECT) so I am now a bit stuck. Is it really finger trouble on their part, or...

Another beginner question. by PhilÅ
I have the x-lite thingy working great and was thinking of getting a USB phone thing to use (under £10). Can I use this together with a ATA at the same time, or do I either have to use the ATA OR the x-link SW and not both. I.E. with both connected would both the analogue phones on the ata and the x-link SW ring out??

Voipbuster with ATA-degraded? by James Ikom
Is it just me or have you noticed that in the last week Voipbuster with ATA has become very much hit and miss? I use Sipura 2100 or Linksys WRT54GP2. Seems to work much better using Voipbuster client. Pity their forum has been scrapped! Have tried Voipcheap with ATA but that doesn't seem to work at all.

www.voipcheap.co.uk by Graham
Anyone else got an email from call1899.co.uk inviting you to download a dialler from what seems to be yet another alias / sister Co. This time its called www.voipcheap.co.uk Does anyone know if it works with other applications like X-Lite or hardware phones? It looks like unregistered users can make 1min. calls to UK landlines for free.
