Loads of failed calls via sipgate - I give up! by Terry K
After suffering with sipgate for some time now, I need a reliable service for Voip, I have been with sipgate for several months hoping that they might just get the service working reliably, but according to my callers, the failed calls are getting more and more common. It's apparently quite common now for them to have to try more than five times before they get a successful connection. ...

Trinidad VoIP by Graham Cox
Hiya, Does anybody happen to know of a VoIP service that offers cheap phone calls to/from Trinidad And Tobago? I'm not entirely sure how the phone system works over there, since it's +1-868 to dial it from the UK - which should normally imply that it's an american phone number... Does this mean that a long distance account on an american carrier gets free calls to Trinidad? Or is it not...

asterisk @ Home - Help Please? by RH
Any Asterisk @ Home gurus out there? Install the system for the first time, and I was super duper impressed, installed and ran first time, no issues with linux. But I do have some problems I have not even tried linking to the outside world yet as I have had problems with extensions. I have created SIP extensions and have the units registered (SJPHONE , PA1688 based phones) but they then do...

Sipgate - Again by {{{{{Welcome}}}}}
Been having problems since last night. Up until 07:30ish this morning calls to sipgate from a standard phone would drop on answer. Now calls from a standard phone only have one way audio, the other person can hear me, I can't hear them, yet a call to my IPKall number which is linked to my sipgate account works fine - audio both ways.

JustDialVoIP query re SIP address by David Floyd
Does anyone know what the SIP address is for JDVoIP. Normally it would be something like @justdial.com that doesn't work, neither does @82.110.16.193 I'm trying to use the account as a gateway account in an SPA3000; it works OK as Line 1.

SPA-3000 web admin interface dying by Andrew Gabriel
One of my SPA-3000's seems to have developed a fault with its web interface, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this. The fault is intermittent and may be getting worse. It doesn't happen in the basic user tabs, but does in the advanced admin tabs, and sometimes in the basic admin tabs. I think it probably relates to the total amount of data in all the tabs (they all seem to be passed to...

"Joe Harrison" wrote in message ... Also seems to be added strangeness...

Not receiving incoming calls on Voipfone by GwG
Is anyone else having problems with incoming calls on Voipfone, or is it just me? I cannot receive calls on my 056 number, and I have just set up an 0870 number to test, and I cannot receive calls through this either. I have tried making calls through two mobile networks, because dialling through NTL in my area does not get past the 4th digit yet (NTL informed), and these calls do not...

QoS with IP phone/ADSL router by NewsAcc
Hi all, after doing a few tests with web browsing/downloads whilst making a call from a BudgeTone IP phone, I noticed some severe breakup of call on an external IP phone. I suppose this is to be expected, so I started looking into QoS. Looks like there are two places I can setup the QoS. 1. The BudgeTone IP phone which has the following QoS settings : Layer 3 QoS: Diff-Serv or...
