Broken ATA - recommend a replacement? by Chris Davies
Hi folks, Shortly before Christmas I took the plunge and got a Grandstream 286 from eBay. Updated the firmware and it worked happily until a couple of weeks ago. The original seller can't recall the place from where he purchased it, and Grandstream won't honour direct warranty claims. (Whether that's legal or not within the EU would also be interesting.) On the premise that I'd prefer a working...

S450ip not possible by Dave Saville
My new S450IP has thrown a wobbly in that if I press the IP selection button it says "not possible!" but calls come in OK and calls go out using the #provider suffix trick. Pressing the "Fixed Line" button gives a screen to input the number - as the IP button used to. I tried rebooting the base and the IP button worked once. This is on all handsets. :-( -- Regards Dave Saville

Linksys 3102 and Sipgate. by Nick
Is it possible to set Sipgate up as a gateway for only dialing out or do you have to register Sipgate as the Line1 account. I have tried this and I can't get it to work sipgate although it works fine for voipcheap. Additionally is it possible to use the (unused) PSTN line to register with a second SIP provider.

extendvoip by Jerry
Hello, Me and my friends made some software. It's basicly to extend the possibilities for VoIP-software. The software works together with voipbuster, voipdiscount and skype. We've tested it on a few machines with Windows XP or Vista and it works stable. We hope some more people want to test it and maybe post some results. The software is free and there is an uninstall option, so testing should...

I have acquired a Senao WiFi VoIP phone, which works fine, except when calling "sipgate to sipgate" I don't hear the called person (or Ivor's clock). Ringing 10000 says all is set up correctly ! ? ? Busy(?) tones from PAP2T by Roger Mills
I am using a VoIP service provided by voip.co.uk, but with my own hardware - PAP2T connected to my ADSL modem/router. As often as not, if the called party's phone is busy, I get a nasty skawk from the PAP2T rather than a normal busy tone. Could this be due to something being wrong in the PAP2T setup? When I first had it (a few months ago) I got into a bit of mess configuring it, and put it...

QoS Router by Steve
Hi, I am using a VoIP Router, which can manage QoS etc... The only problem, that it cannot decrease a upload, if I receive a VoIP phone call..... I need to limit the bandwidth of my upload permanently (for the Website, like max 4*32kbp ) I would expect to find one, which can decrease itself the upload, IF a phone call is arriving !
