| | Voxalot routing incoming calls by dialled number by
Iain
I'd like to have some sip devices registered to my voxalot account, and
have incoming calls routed to one or other of them according to the
number being dialled. This seems such an obvious requirement that I'm
sure it must be obvious, but I can't see where to set it up.
Any suggestions?

| | Connecting to Voipcheap on a computer when using SIP phone by
tkay11@gmail.com
I would be very grateful if someone could help me. I have a Siemens
SIP phone, and my son has a Voipcheap account which he uses on his
laptop. I too have signed up for Voipcheap, but can't work out how to
configure my phone so that I can dial him on his computer.
It seems I can only dial IP addresses or numbers from my phone. His IP
address is of course behind a router. (He is on a wireless...

| | voipcheap.co.uk vs voipchap.com by
Ian Pawson
I am currently using the .co.uk service as they provided free sms texts,
but charged 1p per min for uk landline calls wheresas the .com chaged
for texts but calls were free (up to 300 min per week). Now I notice that
they have now started charging 3p for texts, so the .com service is
cheaper overall.
How come the same company has such different rates?

| | Trixbox with spyware/bot by
voiptalker@gmail.com
Trixboxers beware! Uncle Ward over at nerdvittles.com has posted an
interesting article concerning a previously undisclosed bot that is
hidden away in Trixbox. Basically, it does an "ET" and phones home
every morning at 3.41am.
Article he http://nerdvittles.com/index.php?p=198
Makes me glad I moved away from Trixbox to PBX-in-a-Flash.

| | TA612V droping incoming call bug by
Bob
I looking for some help with my Netgear TA612V with open source V1.2_73.
My setup is using Sipgate for call and Virgin Media as internet provider.
The problem I have found is after awhile I cannot receive incoming calls,
the problem is random and will recover from time to time!
I also have a second TA612V but with the Sipgate firmware V1.2_71 which
works without this problem and as far as I...

| | Recommend ATA please by
Dave Angel
Unless you're calling other SIP endpoints, i.e. your calls are entirely
VoIP, then I'd be really interested to know what VoIP provider you're
using that's cheaper than a landline, please?
Hi Chris. Most of my calls are national calls during the day.
Voipfone charge 1p per minute for this with no minimum charge anywhere
in the UK at any time, pay as you go. BT charge 5p immediately...

Anyone using voicemail with sipgate and a spa101? I used to have Vonage
with a Motorola ata, and I received a voicemail I used to get a envelope
showing on the lcd screen of my dect phone, but since using Sigate this
does not happen, there is a switch in the ata for under user saying
message waiting, if this is set message waiting Yes, it brings up a
envelope icon and a voicemail...
