| | BT's Web21C SDK goes live by
Chris Hills
From the email:-
Yes, that's right! You've asked and now full production use of the
Web21C SDK services is available. Since we launched our beta back in
November, we've added a new service, Contacts, deprecated Presence,
fixed problems that have been reported by you and generally made our
services stronger, faster, fitter and leaner. Check out our new SDKs
too, we've got .Net, Java,...

I gave up trying to get a trixbox working a few months ago as I could never
fix the one way transmission problems I had (amongst others) but I'd still
like to do something with the comms around the house, my home office and the
wife's (remote) office.
At the moment I have an account with Voipfone with a pstn number and 4 PBX
extensions. I've also got a an account with Voiptalk and another...

| | Unlimited (UK) Calls VoIP Packages by
News Reader
Hi,
Can anyone advise providers of unlimited (must include the UK) VoIP calls
packages (and their prices)?
I am thinking essentially other than Vonage (and not limited like Betamax
voipcheap.com, etc. [300 minutes rolling per week limit), etc.

hi, there,
Have now updated to latest firmware and it now seems more stable, still
trying to get two sip providers working though!
I want to make calls via vopicheap.com because they offer free calls to
uk and loads of other destinations
I want to receive call from voipcheap.co.uk because they gave a free
in-coming voip number!

BC
A work colleague has signed up for an account with voip.co.uk and she
has been issued with a Walsall number in the format of 01922 66xxxx.
She has set up her account with a Linksys SPA2102 and she can make
outgoing calls without a problem, incoming calls is another story.
Calls from a BT landline connect without fail. Calls from a Virginmedia
landline & Vodafone mobile both fail. When I try...

| | Taking UK Skype phone to USA? by
Lobster
I'm going to the USA for a period soon and will be staying in
wi-fi-enabled (ie, free) homes. Will be taking a laptop with me.
It's just occurred to me that buying a Skype (or other VOIP?) phone
would be a good idea, to keep down my costs of calling within the USA
and home to the UK. Dos this sound a Good Plan? Don't know a whole lot
about voip but from what I've read to date I can't find...

| | Asterisk with Gradwell numbers and ADSL2? by
Adrian
All,
Anybody got any experience of the reliability or otherwise of ADSL2 LLU
(specifically a Be Pro connection guesstimated at around 14Mbit) for
running Gradwell numbers to an Asterisk server?
We've been having success over an NTL/VM cable, but are about to move
offices - and the question is ADSLMax or ADSL2.
Ta!

| | My experiences with personal and small business VOIP by
relaxandchillout@gmail.com
Fwiw I have been a user of VOIP for about three years and I summarise
my experiences so far as follows:
BT/BBV - I used this a lot first on a Cisco ATA 186 then on BT Voyager
10v. The call quality and connectivity has always been excellent but
dealing with BT is a pain. This was made worse when they 'upgraded' me
from an 055 No. to an 056 No. (which introduced limited connectivity
from a number...

| | Asterisk for SME use - Query by
AntiSpamBloke
Colleage has one geographic number and wants an interactive menu service for
callers (EG press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts...).
Is there a way to interface an Asterisk unit, or Asterisk@Home, between the
phone line and a Grandstream unit and forward the calls over something like
an interal LAN?
