Just brought a LINKSYS PAP2-NA UNLOCKED from ebay - collected it
today. I'm having problems getting it to work.
Done a google but still no joy.
Dial **** to access the IVR Menu, then enter 110#
It then reads out : 192.168.15.113

| | NTL / Virgin Media - Cable Broadband - Some (technical) questions... by
News Reader
Hi,
I have some questions about (former) NTL / Virgin Media cable broadband
services.
I understand that they now only supply a single ethernet port cable modem
(i.e. / e.g. no more USB via a STB ). Their modems /
service used to bind itself to the first MAC it met - is this still the
case? Would, and I read more recently that resetting the MAC is no longer

| | Incoming Pots - VoIP Forwarding by

I have had several modems in the past that had great incoming voice featues
(you could set up menus and even allow users to have voice commands).. This
got me to wondering "if" there's a soft (or cheap(ish) hard) solution out
there. and if such solutions are out there then how good are they? ..
I would accept the fact that I'll get longer latency times, but fixed plans
on the mobiles means I...

| | SPA3102, nobody said it was going to be easy. by
Anti-Spam
Great, my SPA3102 arrived today. Its smaller than I thought, no
problem though. Plugged it all in (had already seperated off my house
phone wiring from the line), so was just a case of plugging in.
1st stupid mistake, plugged it into the line before the ADSL filter,
so I was getting no internet connection on my PC. Started of course
with the most difficult solutions, 1 hour later realised what I...

| | Can anyone help by
bob garbutt
hi,
Is it possible to get a ata that would allow multiple sip providers? I
would like to be able to have a in-coming provider and a different
outgoing provider, and would like the calls to go through the ata but
use only one phone and not two separate ones for each service!
Cheers, Bob

| | Do such answering machines exist ? by
Phas
There is a standard headphones jack for a headset on my IP telephone,
and I'd like to connect an answering machine to it. The trouble is I
can't find any answering machine in stores that has the headphone
jack. Also, couldn't find any regular answering machine for IP
telephones in VOIP internet stores.
Did someone try to convert digital dictaphones into the answering
machines ? These days there...

| | Asterisk Call Transfer Query by
Matt
Hi,
Just found some odd behaviour with our Asterisk set up.
If, during a call internally or to a landline, I hit ## I can transfer
the call.
If I try this during a call to a mobile, it ignores the ## - even when
calling out over the same trunk!

| | Voicemail only during certain hours? by
John Miller
Hello,
I am looking for a special kind of voice mail system that is only active
during certain hours, for instance on weekdays all the time except from
6-10pm, on Saturday all the time except 10am-6pm and on Sunday the whole
day. It is meant for a small business that is currently only active after
office hours.
How can I realise something like that? Are there any VOIP providers that...

| | Recomendation for rock-solid ATA with FXO port by
Gordon Henderson
I'm after a decent quality ATA with one FXO port and one Ethernet port. Ie
a box which will plug into a BT wall socket and my LAN.
It needs to route incominmg calls to a remote SIP account, and accept
an incoming SIP call and send it to the PSTN.
I don't care if it has a local FSX port for a phone as it'll not be used.
Any suggestions?
