After taking the great advice proffered here, I located an EU FRITZ! Box Fon (Annex A) on e-bay. I purchased same, and it arrived here in the US last night. Unfortunately the software and documentation are all in German. I don't read German! :-) Can any one here help me set it up in LAN mode for UK telephone numbers and UK standard telephones?

Does anyone know how I can reset my SPA3102 as I cannot access it via the browser nor can access the telephone menu? I am getting no dialtone and cannot access via the browser? Any ideas?

Hi, To the poster (and anyone else / others) who was mentioning about problems with VoIP due to low upstream bandwidth on their ADSL. I happened to notice recently again that in fact the minimum upstream bandwidth on ADSL services is actually 64 kbp/s. This suggests to me that you are actually having problems due to something other than "line length" per se.
