| | Configuring multiple sip outbound proxy on different Cisco 28xx interfaces by
edo
Hello,
does someone knows if it is possible, using Cisco Voice routers, to
configure a different outbound proxy for FXSs and PRI ports?
My problem is that, we need to install Cisco voice routers for large
sites, with PBX and direct FXS telephones. In our architecture, single
line (FXS) users need registration on softswitch, while PBX (PRA)
users are configured as multiline "GNR" group, and MUST...

| | Where has my Fritzbox ATA gone? by
dg
I had my Fritzbox working and could access the control panel etc, but
the next time I turned on the PC, I had no internet access and could
not access the Fritzbox control panel at the IP address it was set to.
The Fritzbox was still letting Voip through to my phone, but otherwise
no other internet access.
How do I find my Fritzbox if it is not showing up at the IP address it
should be at? And...

| | VOIP secure ?? by
Stephane M
Hi,
I just wonder if a communication is really secure ?
I mean, suppose that 2 peoplse connected to their own ASTERISK server,
and 2 users are connected to this server...
What do you think about the link between the phone and the server ?
(Usually using SIP protocol)
- Is that easy to intercept communications ?

John Williams (News)
I'm still on dial-up here, but, in anticipation of having broadband shortly
when I move to France, I've bought a couple of inexpensive ATAs.
I've programmed one of them on my LAN - just the basic bit, not the SIPs -
so that (theoretically, as it seems to me, a complete newbie) someone
should be able to ring my bell if they knew my IP address using the direct
IP call system.
I appreciate we...

SteveC
Hi Folks,
I'm looking at getting the SPA3102 ATA.
Before purchasing, wondered whether there was anything else I should
consider, or is it a one horse race?
I want to use the dialplans to route calls based on their destination
via different providers.
Also want to be able to call in through it (say from my mobile when
not at home) and have it route the call back out to an...

| | BBC:Net phone service rules announced by
Brian A
"Net phone service rules announced"
I think we all knew that this was to come about. Personally I think
Ofcom could spend their time on much more important things concerning
voip.
Vonage, in my view, raised an important issue. In essence: Why should
people have to pay for a landline telephone service that they don't
want just because they need a line to carry broadband.
VirginMedia does this...

Malcolm Loades
I bought a Frtiz!box Fon WLAN (Annex A) from Sipgate last week.
Basically it's a fantastic unit but I've two issues and AVM support
seems to only allow one e-mail out per 24 hours! You wait 24 hours,
they send a pre-written answers everything reply which doesn't address
what you say, you reply and must wait another 24 hours for the next
stage! NB Weekends don't count so Friday questions...

I'd like to be able to record a "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon" and

Can someone point to some suitable information?
