| | HELP: forwarding on SPA 3102?? by
Jose
Hi All,
Despite seeing, and using, the fields for forwarding in the "User1"
tab of the SPA3102 interface, I can't get it to work...
What am I missing, please?
Furthermore, can I create rule that forwards only calls from numbers
diferent than those starting with, say, 123?

| | Does IP telephony suck? by
Klunk
Always been a fan of Voip. Use it at home myself via Sipgate.
I did have to laugh how the IT business I work at was brought to its
knees by an IP telephony outage this week.
A small call centre with about 50 staff running a Shoretel system ground
to a halt when the phone system fell over. They blamed the BT ISDN 30
link, but that was still up and OK. They blamed the licencing running
out,...

| | FreeWorldDialup ends the free ride. by
cybuerke
Thats's all folks! Jeff Pulver has just spoken. As from 1 September, it'll
cost $30 per year for your account with FWD. Seems to be per email address
rather than per number of SIP accounts, so mayhap we could all club together
as member(at)utv.org.uk for one humungous FWD sip a/c?
Not in the spirit of commerce I know, but those of you who are as mean as me
will understand.

| | Port mobile number to SIP trunk by
alexd
Can anyone think of a way I can get calls to my mobile number delivered
to me over a SIP trunk, without paying for a divert? Sipgate's response
to the question is a terse negative.

Anybody managed this? With my E61, I'm getting pretty close, but failing
with auth:

NOTICE chan_sip.c: Registration from 'sip:6018@fqdn' failed for

Note that the E61 appends the FQDN of the server to the username. I have

Hello,
I have a telephone number with Virgin Media. I'm planning to move to
another town very soon which has a different area code, but my number
is very important to me. I have it printed on business cards, head
letters, the number is in directories etc.
I'm worried that when I move Virgin won't allow me using my existing

| | In search of the Good and of the Evil by
abra.ricerca2@libero.it
We should think that God, who has given us Jesus Christ in order to
save us through Him, has nothing to do with the Evil.
God gave the life to the angel, who later rebelled against God
Himself, even if He got knowledge of the angel’s rebellion, because,
otherwise, it would be like to hide the hand within the sleeve.
These considerations, being already read by thousands of people all
over the...

default
Hi,
Just started using SMSlisto and am very pleased. Quality OK, price
right. Actually seems better quality than Skype and much cheaper.
Currently microphone round my neck, caller on the speaker - works
quite well.
I'd like to be able to use it around the house and on a wired phone.
I don't mind having the PC on at all times.
