| | Looks like the week for dial plan help...` by
linker3000
OK guys - here's another one...
I've set up a Linksys/Sipura 3102 with Asterisk. It works OK but not
reliably - ie: I can use it to ring other IP phones on the network or
can call it from other phones for a few times and then it needs a
reboot. I'm currently playing with the SIP settings but any ideas would
be appreciated. Haven't even hooked it up to the PSTN yet.
I've also found that...

Hana
Hi Brian,
As per following post in this newsgroup:
I'm sure it's possible to set up the SPA to use different VOIP
providers and I'm starting to research that now so that I can use
VOIPCheap to call my daugter.
It is. And Brian A has a good guide at www.leafcom.co.uk

Hi all,
Seems like a friendly group here!
:¬)
I've been scratching my head over VOIP for a long while, but the time
has come!
Due to forced implementation of home Gbit network (modem packed up in
storm) I have gone for the Dratek 2910.
I'm not asking the "did I buy the right thing" question as I want it

| | Linksys SPA3000 by
Yaz
Am on the look out for the cheapest SPA3000 (Sipura, owned by Linksys).
It is for VOIP calls with tremendous oppurtunity. Far better than Skype. I
would like to use it on NTL broadband.
The cheapest I have seen including delivery is £58.00.

| | 'Upgrade' once again downgrades VOIP Buster by
BrianF
Automated update this week has retrned VOIP Buster to unusable status
because every call fails within seconds or up to a minute when the program
crashes. A similar thing happened earlier this year and the program was
unuseable for about six weeks until the next upgrade came along. It has been
working fine for the last few months. Am I the only one to have this
problem?

I need a beginners guide to Trixbox. I have read some stuff on the net which
gives me the basics, which is fine if they work but they don't tell you why
or what you are entering. I am new to all this and although I have the
internal aprt working I can't get out going in in coming calls working
through voiptalk.

her 0870 number telephone!).
However, although MSN Messenger (sorry, Windows Live Messenger) works ok in
basic text mode, we are having some difficulty getting the talk/video

I can not get MWI working on Sipgate.
I am using a Linksys (Sipura) 1001 adapter and have set it up as

phone is not indicating it by either the dial tone or the message indicator.
Thanks for any help in advance.

| | Do you know of a free VOIP company for free calls to UK??? by
computer
Hi everyone,
I have been using sipdiscount for free calls using a normal phone,
however unfortunately they have now dropped the free calling service
and so I am looking for another company who offer free calls to UK
landlines.
I know of VOIP Cheap, but unfortunately the UK isn't included in their
list of free landline destinations.
Could someone suggest another company ??

| | Voip provider for UK only calls by
victor.ward@mail.com
Hi All,
I recently posted a question regarding ATA's etc and have since
purchased and set-up a Sipura/Linksys SPA1001. It was all nice and easy
and I have a Sipgate for my local geographic number for incoming calls.
I'm now looking for the best value provider for ourgoing calls. Calls
will all be to the UK and the majority of these will be to landline.
The call volume will be very low, approx....

| | FS [UK]: Digium Wildcard TDM400P 1 port FXO Card (TDM01B) by
Carl Farrington
I bought this card from Keison / VoIPon a few months ago whilst learning
VoIP/Asterisk, but I haven't had time really, and will probably be playing
more with SIP and GSM when I do get the time.
The card has therefore only been used to place a couple of calls, and is as
new.
Looking for £75 including delivery, PayPal preferred, no extra charges.
Any takers?
