| | Vyke - Interesting VoIP Provider? 4 Eurocent Per Call? by
News Reader
Hi,
During ongoing searching for best value UK calling via VoIP or fixed line I
have identified the following:
https://www.vyke.com/merchantsite/main.c?Distributor=VYKENO&Locale=7
This is an interesting if somewhat curious provider / service... the
offering presented seems to depend on what "distributor" referall link you
are given / use. With the above "VYKENO" the adverts at the top of the...

| | VoipBuster Server Settings by
toxicated101
Hi
As some of you will know Voipbuster, poivY, SIPDiscount, VoipCheap etc
all use the same software , all that is different is the name and a
skin. I was wondering if anybody knows where the server setting is
kept, ie the sip.voipbuster.com, I would think that each provider who
uses the software puts in their own sip setting, I looked in the
skip.zip inside the resource file but it appeared only...

| | Sipura / Linksys SPA1001 Back to back / sipgate by
Melodicminor
Can anyone help me with a little problem I have.
I have been using an SPA 1001 and SPA3000 in a back to back config with
a hotline dialplan to give me a PBX extension over a wireless bridge.
This has been working fine, no problems for a number of weeks now....
However, I now want to use line 2 (on the SPA1001) for a sipgate
account - simple enough I thought, and configured as per...

| | VOIP implementation advise by
dilan.weerasinghe@gmail.com
Hi
We wish to implement VoIP to (primarily) communicate with overseas
office, but at the same time reduce the phone bill for the office in
general.
We have a 1 MB leased line connecting to a Cisco 2501 router (ISP
managed), then a Cisco PIX 506e, through to four 3COM 4288g manageable
network switches.

| | Wireless headset for Grandstream GXP2000 by
Linker3000
Like it says - anyone have any experience hooking up a 'proper' (not
just a mobile phone earbud/mic) wireless (bluetooth or otherwise)
headset to a grandstream GXP2000 SIP Phone?
Any info on compatible models would be appreciated.
Thanks

| | voicestick -- too good to be true?? by
benn686@hotmail.com
I just came across this service and I must be missing something...
they'll give you a free LOCAL pstn number, that anyone using a regular
PSTN phone can you from, and it will ring on your voicestick SIP
equipment, all for free!
They do have some paid services such as call forwarding, which Im
guessing means if the voicestick SIP equipment you are trying to reach,
doesnt answer or isnt on, it...

| | FritzBox by
Aidan Whitehouse
Just thinking of buying one of the FritzBoxes to replace a SIP softphone,
and need a bit of advice. I currently use a Vonage adapter for standard
calls, but want to overlay SIP onto my analogue phones to take advantage of
the better rates to mobiles and international calls. I also want to get a
couple of international in-bound numbers not offered by Vonage. I have seen
some of Ivor's...

| | Gradwell Sipgate now working :-) by
Ivor Jones
The peering between Gradwell and Sipgate, which has been broken for a
while, is now fully working again in both directions.
However, there is a slight difference in the dialling procedure from
Gradwell to Sipgate; calls need to be dialled using the prefix code **777
followed by the number in international format but without the leading
zero, i.e. for my Speaking Clock on the Sipgate London...

| | Sipgate and BT-102 phone - callers don't hear ringing tone by
Rob Walker
I have an account with Sipgate and a Grandstream BT-102 phone. It all works
fine except that when people call me they don't hear a ringing tone (the
BT-102 rings fine). I've tried forwarding ports and it doesn't seem to have
made any difference.
Any ideas?

| | freetalk to vonage & a UTStarcom F1000 help please by
brit-dub
Hi
I've just swapped over from Freetalk to vonage, my phone number is still to
be ported though. I went to the vonage site and liked the look of the WiFi
UTStarcom F1000 so I tried to buy one. No so easy.
They will only sell one as a new contract you cant add one to a existing
contract even though its only 5 hours old or a transfer from Freetalk.
So I asked if I buy one elsewhere like from...

| | Sipgate and ATA186 by
Malcolm Loades
This works perfectly with the exception of not being able to send DTMF
tones over the line - dialling is no problem. Therefore I'm unable to
call most business lines which answer with "For xxxx please press y".
This also rules out voicemail.
I've changed the analogue handset to an alternative which makes no
difference. The ATA186 is running Version: v3.1.0 atasip (Build
040211A).
Any...

Shaun Palmer
I've been using internetcalls for a couple of weeks with no problems, now I
get NU tone for every call.
:-(
So I open an account with voipstunt and use that - everything is fine.
:-)
Move back to internetcalls and still get NU tone - so going to use voipstunt
for now.

| | Tesco USB phone by
Steve Barlow
Question #1 - Can I use an ATA with the Tesco VOIP service instead of the
USB Phone?
Question #2 - Is the Tesco USB phone locked to the Tesco VOIP service or
could I use it also on say Sipgate?
Thanks - Steve B.

| | Draytek 2800 and Sipgate/voiptalk -- what are the settings? by
[L.]
I'm trying to set up my new Draytek 2800 VG with my Sipgate and
voiptalk accounts
However, whichever way I try, I can't seem to get either to register
in the SIP account list.
The Sipgate web page should have some help for the 2600, but I cannot
see it
Voiptalk have instructions for the 2600, which are slightly different
and, even f I adapt them, they don't work
