SPA3000 config by Rupert
I've just got myself an SPA3000. The idea being to connect the FXO interface to an analogue extension on my office PBX and then connect in over VoIP from a remote SPA1000 so I can dial in/out of our PBX from home/anywhere. The IP level of this set up is sorted - I'll always have a VPN back to the office - but could someone point me in the direction of a how-to on how set the ATAs up to...

MG3 ATA by My Name
Someone in another thread found an MG3 ATA for just under $30, approx 27 euros or 20 pounds. This is the price given by voice stick. Does anyone have any experience with this ATA? And is it locked into voice stick? How easy to unlock? Any other cheap ATAs around?

How to get a USA geo number here in the UK? by ßødincµs²°°°
As per subject, wifey has an old friend living in LA, a local geo number could be nice to let them chat for less (other party not so tech-savy to embark on Skype, never mind real VoIP, but a phone is at reach). Solutions? TIA -- ßødincµs²°°° - The Y2K Druid

VOIP Router Advice Required by Marv
I am currently using the Sipgate VOIP service via my NTL broadband connection and very regularly find that my telephone conversations get cut-off at random intervals. After which I am unable to get a dialing tone until I reset my router (i.e. turn it off & on). This is leading me to think that it is my router that is at fault. It is a Linksys BEFSR41 model. Would I be better off replacing it...

Reasons why you should choose an Analogue Telephone Adater (ATA) over that of a USB phone using Skype or a SIP Softphone by Brian A
I am writng this because I see so many postings, on this newsgroup, by people enquiring about USB handsets.
